Left: Gage Skidmore; Right: Antonioaesparza
  • Can’t get Any Closer: Talarico 47%, Paxton 47%
  • Texans Prefer Republicans not Democrats Control Senate, 50-44%
  • Majorities Say Talarico Has Good Character, 56-31% & Right Kind of Moral Values, 51-35%; Majorities Question Paxton on Those Two Traits

Toplines Crosstabs

“Texas may be in play this cycle, as our polling shows Republican Ken Paxton locked in a tie with Democrat James Talarico in new Times/Siena polling,” said Don Levy, Siena Research Institute’s Executive Director. “How will voters ultimately decide this crucial race? A majority prefers Republicans retain control of the senate – score one for Paxton – but on character and the right kind of moral values, voters give Talarico the nod.”
